Italian Exhibition Group´s international event dedicated to the religious product supply chain will be back at Vicenza Expo Centre from 13th to 15th February 2023. The 20th edition will take place on the horizon functional to the dynamics of the sector in view of the 2025 Jubilee.

Vicenza, 11th February 2023 . The 20th edition of Koinè . International Exhibition for the Religious World is scheduled to take place from 13th to 15th February 2023 at Vicenza Expo Centre. The international exhibition dedicated to the religious supply chain, organised by Italian Exhibition Group with the active support of the CEI (Italian Episcopal Conference) and the patronage of the Diocese of Vicenza, will be back on its original dates at the beginning of the year: a strategic and functional horizon for the sector´s manufacturing division for the production of special devotional and liturgical items featuring the new Jubilee 2025 logo and graphic elements.

A NEW AREA DEDICATED TO THE HOLY YEAR
The 2023 edition of Koinè will accompany craftsmen, artists and operators in the devotional sector on their way to the opening of the Holy Door. A special area entitled ´EXPO JUBILEE 2025´, will see producers of sacred items exhibiting customisable prototypes, objects for liturgical and devotional use, vestments, emblems and gadgets featuring the distinctive signs of the Jubilee year, which will bear the motto Pilgrims of Hope, to international buyers, sanctuary operators, wholesalers and retailers.

THE EVENT OF REFERENCE SINCE 1989
The biennial event, an international reference point for the sector since 1989, provides those operating in the holy sector from all over the world with three decisive days for meetings, discussions and business. An exhibition offer that highlights Made in Italy manufacturing excellence in the production of devotional items and liturgical objects, avant-garde solutions for furnishings and places of worship and proposals for religious tourism. Exhibitions, cultural events and conferences organised in collaboration with the offices of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI) will further enrich the event, offering exceptional moments for exchanging ideas, making proposals and prompting reflection on the sector´s central themes.

THE ROUTE TO RELIGIOUS TOURISM
A multiplier event for supply chain opportunities on domestic and international markets, Koinè 2023 will strengthen its natural vocation as a flywheel for the recovery of religious tourism by hosting, for the very first time, the International Religious Tourism Exchange. The format, which will be organised into promotional and commercial workshops, will allow professional sellers to generate new relationships and exchanges with sector buyers, such as hospitality facilities, guides and tour operators, local authorities and promotional companies, museums and religious and cultural sites.

A CALL TO ARTISTS AND HOLY PRODUCT DESIGNERS
Koinè has always embraced art, as the publication in recent months of three calls for artists, designers and ateliers to display their works within the exhibitions featured in the ´Faith and Devotion´ area goes to prove. The 2023 edition will focus on three themes: ´Joseph: father, husband, refugee', an exhibition of illustrations and graphic elaborations in which students from Fine Arts Academies, Schools of Sacred Art and Artistic High Schools can also participate; ´Sacred Vases, Art and Design - International Production Scenario´, for the creation of contemporary holy vases for Eucharistic worship; ´Yarns and textiles for liturgy´ for liturgical robes and vestments, ecclesiastical garments and altar linens.
