Press release n. 3 of the 10/02/2023 14.52.47 ( download )

• Global scope for the Italian Exhibition Group event dedicated to the religious sector, in Vicenza from February 13th to 15th
• Koinè will host the International Religious Tourism Exchange
• The importance and interest in religious tourism destined to grow further with the Jubilee of 2025, but also with the Jubilee of Monte Berico in 2026

Spirituality, peace, contact with nature and with oneself. This is what spiritual paths offer to those who undertake them. And the 20th edition of Koinè International Exhibition for the Religious World, the Italian Exhibition Group event dedicated to the sacred sector, scheduled from February 13th to 15th 2023 in the Vicenza Expo Centre, is part of this growing trend in religious tourism. Koinè will also host, for the first time, the International Religious Tourism Exchange, thanks to the partnership between IEG and PromoNU.

COMPARISON AND SYNERGIES BETWEEN SELLERS AND BUYERS
Destined to develop further with the Jubilee of 2025 - but also with the Jubilee of Monte Berico of 2026, designed to enhance the Sanctuary of Monte Berico in Vicenza on the occasion of the sixth centenary of the first apparition of the Virgin Mary, with the aim of reaching five millions of visitors and promote the link with the Veneto city - religious tourism, which is associated with these paths, is constantly growing. Sellers and buyers, specialized sellers and buyers of religious tourism will meet at Koinè, the Exchange will offer a further opportunity for comparison between Italian and international realities, a sharing of expertise and business paths. Not just meetings, but a willingness to get to know each other thoroughly and create synergy. It is not the first time that Koinè hosts relevant exhibitors in the field of religious tourism: last year, for example, the Camino de Santiago took part in the event.

AT KOINÈ SPACE FOR YOUNG ARTISTS, FOR PEACE, BEAUTY AND COHESION BETWEEN PEOPLES
The themes proposed by the ´Beauty for Peace´ Award for Contemporary Arts, organized by the PCE Participatory Foundation ´Terre del Capo di Leuca - De Finibus Terrae´, promoter of Carta di Leuca and the Italian Exhibition Group, are very topical themes. The Prize intends to promote the talents of emerging young Euro-Mediterranean artists. And it is open to all contemporary artists residing and/or native to European countries and those bordering the Mediterranean, who present a work capable of expressing their personal thoughts on peace and conviviality among peoples. The finalists will exhibit their works at Koinè and during the vernissage of the exhibition, the winner of the prize will be announced, in the presence of the public and the press.

THE IMPORTANCE AND VALORISATION OF RELIGIOUS PATHS, THE EXAMPLE OF LAZIO
Religious paths are considered increasingly important at the regional level. An example above all is that of Lazio, which in view of the Jubilee 2025, has set up the network of paths of the Region. A project started in 2017 and now carried out by the Tourism Department, working on a law for the overall enhancement of the network of paths, with the participation of the Cai (Italian Alpine Club).
