JOSEPH Father, Husband, Refugee
In the light of the huge interest and general appreciation, following the proclamation of the Jubilee Year dedicated to St Joseph (8 December 2020 – 8 December 2021) with the publication of the Apostolic Letter Patris Corde and the 12 catechesis that Pope Francis held in 2021 and 2022, Koinè will be holding an exhibition entitled Joseph, Father, Husband, Refugee.
AIM
The aim of this exhibition is to gradually promote the use of artistic language and contemporary sensibilities in the creation (and circulation) of images that are not part of the Church's rituals, but which nonetheless are linked to the particular sentiment of the devoutness of believers.
EXHIBITION SETTING
The exhibition will be held as part of Koinè - Fiera di Vicenza, from 13 to 15 February 2023 - and will be located in the “Faith & Devotion” area dedicated to devotional items.
PARTICIPATION
Artists are being invited to create illustrations and/or graphic works interpreting the image of St Joseph.
