Koine's exhibitors: Zervopoulos
Since 1969 the Zervopoulos laboratory has been engaged in the laborious and difficult task of creating exact copies of portable icons from the Byzantine and post-Byzantine schools.
The workshop D. Zervopoulos S.A is dedicated to traditional techniques of creating exact copies of icons from the Byzantine and post-Byzantine period. The icon has been painted on canvas or on aged wood with gold background and with egg tempera. Our talented icon painters have managed to achive the highest standards in the creation of faithful copies of icongraphy's religious artifacts. The silver icons are made following the traditional Byzantine methods, on canvas, egg tempera, 925, 950, 999 silver and 24K gold.
