The company focuses on contemporary art glass in sacred and in secular areas, as well as on restoration of historically valuable glass art. Derix uses all traditional and innovative technologies, especially in combination.
A characteristic of the company is the close cooperation with the artists and architects to translate their ideas into glass. The result are outstanding glass windows for example the “Richter Window” in the dome of Cologne, the windows of the protestant church in Koblenz of Prof. Lüpertz or the windows in the dome of Augsburg, artist Prof. Johannes Schreiter.
