On Feb. 11, 2022, Pope Francis officially started the process that will lead the world’s Church to celebrate the 2025 Jubilee Year. Catholics around the world are looking forward to the event 10 years after the last Jubilee summoned by Pope Francis in 2015, the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy.

The Jubilee “machine” has turned on immediately. Managed by the Pontifical Council for promoting the New Evangelisation, it started up with the formal announcement of a contest to create the Jubilee logo, which must clearly represent the inspiration of the Holy Year to be used as a distinctive sign for all the Jubilee activities. The call for bids establishes that the winning logo will be announced and made available in the summer of 2022, so that all the interested parties may have time to get familiar with it and use it.

A new opportunity opens up for those who manufacture items for the church and liturgy and for the Catholic public at large to customise the items with the new logo, in addition to adding the Jubilee logo and its symbolism to the symbolism already present in the shrines, places and trails of worship.

With this in mind and fully aware that items branded “Jubilee 2025", especially those that need integration with the logos of famous worship places, will start to circulate as early as the first months of the year 2024, Koinè has planned for its 2023 edition, which will take place from February 13 to February 15, 2023, a special Jubilee Expo Area where the world's leading manufacturers will be able to showcase their prototypes and models for the Jubilee 2025 products.

Commercial visitors (buyers, retailers, purchasers from shrines and places of worship and parishes) will be able to view the prototypes most suitable for integration in their commercial portfolio embellished with their distinctive marks. At the stands, they will also meet the manufacturers and will have the chance to request customisations.
